For those of you who have not signed up for the Spartan Games newsletter or follow the great blog over at Element270, time to check out the Pre-Order section for Dystopian Wars! FIVE new and reorganised box sets have made the Chinese Federation the monolithic juggernaut it was always meant to be, and made collecting a huge force of models across all three theatres incredibly easy. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

This set has everything you could need for the Naval force - full-sized squadrons, no doubling up. No new models but a great selection

Centred around the Shenlong Land Assault Carrier, the force also includes Chao Feng Bombards and Chiwen Medium Tanks, as well as the "Temple Dog" Shi-class Robots and Fushi Small Robots - the Terracotta Warriors

The Aerial fleet has been expanded hugely with a selection based around the mighty Feilong Sky Fortress

Thus excellent box set contains a floating Great Wall of China

Behold the Tian Long Armoured Dragon Robot! Awesome

Particular favourites? Obviously the Aerial Battle Group and the Suppression Force are investments for the future, but on Land, we have some excellent new additions - the Temple Dogs and the Terracotta Warriors are brilliantly characterful and would make for a lovely painting project alongside the Dragon. The Land Assault Carier is also a great piece of kit, and comes with EIGHTEEN (!) tiny flyer tokens! Not sure what can match that at this stage.

Knee-jerk reactions and my excitement is still high, but things are looking good for the Chinese Federation.
