Surprise Reinforcements

TWO NEW ADDITIONS TO THE TEAM BRING MORE INFILTRATION AND AIRBORNE DEPLOYMENT TO THE TABLE
December has not been an incredible month for painting, but in recent days two more models have managed to get the attention they deserve - a Hellcat with Boarding Shotgun and Moran Maasai Manhunter with Boarding Shotgun and two Crazy Koalas. Ready for the Third Edition of Infinity, these potent close-range weapons will bring some added tactical depth as well as brutal firepower at point-blank range.

Onto the models!

The latest additions

The Moran Maasai Manhunter is converted from the Nomad Prowler with Boarding Shotgun - basically giving him the head and satchel  from the Vortex Spec-Ops model
I think the original model has a great pose and carries a lot of energy with it - something to match the running pose on the Crazy Koala
Scale-wise, he may seem slightly smaller (less bulk, anyway) than the latest releases, but the pose allows for a lot of leeway
The full arsenal of Crazy Koalas - hopefully in N3 they will remain as potent!
The Immediate Deployment and Interdiction Regiment so far with a Tomcat Doctor in support
Hellcats are among my favourite Infinity models, packed with detail across their armour and webbing. The weapons strapped to the legs and the jump-pack thing on his back are particular favourites
The head of this particular Hellcat really reminds me of the Deacon at the end of Prometheus
Thanks for reading,

George

  1. Looking really good! I really like the bases that you have used as well. Also where did those fork lift truck fype things in the background come from?
